Anthony Bourdain leaves majority of his estate to his 11-year-old daughter, as his will reveals he was worth $1.2 Million before his death
The will of late CNN anchor Anthony Bourdain has been revealed with details about his finances before he took his own life on June 8 at age 61.

In court papers filed in Manhattan Surrogate’s Court and obtained by Page Six and New York Daily News on Thursday, Bourdain was reportedly worth $1.21 million despite reports of a $16 million fortune.

According to the legal documents obtained by the outlets, Bourdain’s assets included $425,000 in “cash and savings,” $35,000 in a brokerage account, $250,000 in “personal property,” and $500,000 in “intangible property including royalties and residuals.”

The will, which was written in 2016, reportedly states that the majority of Bourdain’s finances and his estate will be left to his only child, 11-year-old daughter Ariane.
The executor of the estate is Bourdain's estranged wife, Ottavia Busia, whom he married in 2007.
The 61-year-old had hanged himself in a hotel room on June 8 while he was in Kayserberg, France, filming an episode of Parts Unknown.
